Christine Sheehan, DO, FAAP

Pediatrics

Dr Christine Sheehan is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She was born in New York and raised in New Jersey.  She went to Duke University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and additionally studied at the Duke University Marine Laboratory.  She earned her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and was Chief Pediatric Intern at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/ Nemours Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children. Dr Sheehan recently completed a fellowship in healthcare leadership at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. She serves on the Executive Council of the New Jersey American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr Sheehan has a special interest in international child health. To that end she has participated in medical missions in Kenya and Honduras. She recently worked with the Afghan refugees in New Jersey at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Dr Sheehan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
